Operator mode
Operator mode is planned and is not available in this release.
The intended model: an agency or marketplace runs one recv.fund install for the merchants it serves and sets a markup on top of the recv.fund fee. How the current contracts and program would support it is not specified, and there is no date for it.
What one install does today
One install serves one business. Inside it you can create any number of projects, and each project has its own:
- name, logo, brand colour and redirect URLs on the checkout page;
- enabled currencies;
- merchant registration per chain with its own settlement wallet;
- hot wallet assignment per chain family;
- API keys and webhook endpoints;
- payout policy and address book;
- sweep settings;
- customers, payments, deposit addresses and payouts;
- team members with project-scoped roles.
Every sweep pays the recv.fund fee to the fee collector recorded in that project’s registration. There is no facility for the install’s owner to add a fee of their own to another project’s sweeps. If you run projects for third parties today, any charge between you and them is outside recv.fund.
