# Operator mode

Operator mode is planned and is not available in this release.

The intended model: an agency or marketplace runs one recv.fund install for the merchants it serves and sets a markup on top of the recv.fund fee. How the current contracts and program would support it is not specified, and there is no date for it.

## What one install does today

One install serves one business. Inside it you can create any number of [projects](https://docs.recv.fund/features/multi-brand-projects.md), and each project has its own:

- name, logo, brand colour and redirect URLs on the checkout page;
- enabled currencies;
- merchant registration per chain with its own settlement wallet;
- hot wallet assignment per chain family;
- API keys and webhook endpoints;
- payout policy and address book;
- sweep settings;
- customers, payments, deposit addresses and payouts;
- team members with project-scoped roles.

Every sweep pays the recv.fund fee to the fee collector recorded in that project's registration. There is no facility for the install's owner to add a fee of their own to another project's sweeps. If you run projects for third parties today, any charge between you and them is outside recv.fund.
